Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, Tad Suzuki Piano Studio provides private, personalized piano instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are seeking lessons for a five-year-old beginner, an advanced pianist looking to refine their craft, or you are an adult embarking on your very first musical journey—you are warmly welcome here.
My Teaching Philosophy
My goal is to make the process of mastering the piano both deeply rewarding and highly effective. By building a strong technical foundation, I guide my students toward the true joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating beautiful music.
Comprehensive Piano Education
Every student's path is unique. My lessons are tailored to your individual goals and include a well-rounded approach to musicianship:

Artistic Piano Technique: Learn to express emotion and musicality with every keystroke.

Classical Repertoire: Study and master timeless pieces from the great composers.

Music Theory & Solfège: Understand the language of music (Solfège - pitch and sight singing available upon request).

Recital Preparation: Gain the confidence and poise needed to perform for an audience. We will have two student recitals each year.

Summer Explorations: Take a break from the classics and dive into non-classical repertoire such as Jazz, Cocktails, Bossanova, Show-tune, New Age, etc., during the summer months upon request!
